We probably shouldn’t be telling you this.

We probably shouldn’t be telling you this.

There is a remarkably fast and affordable way to enter the U.S. market. No office. No distributor. No expensive search for the perfect local partner.Simply visit LA Tech Week from October 12–18. Attend a few events. Collect a respectable number of connections. Fly back to Europe. Then wait for the California projects to arrive.

Easy. There is, unfortunately, one small complication: it rarely works that way.

Conferences are excellent for testing your proposition, learning how American buyers respond, and starting conversations. But introductions only become opportunities when someone qualifies them, follows up consistently, develops relationships, and maintains a local presence after everyone has gone home.

That is why the success rate is usually higher when LA Tech Week is part of a structured U.S. market-entry program, with carefully selected meetings, local follow-up, and a plan for turning interest into business.

Still, trying it yourself can be a useful and relatively inexpensive experiment. And if the projects do not immediately start flying across the Atlantic, you will remain very welcome at Quartermaster California.

We’ll even promise not to say, “We told you so.”https://lnkd.in/gC3YUWHu
